Corrections and Clarifications

A BSNL sub-junior chess championship report "Girish, Bharathi in lead" ("Sport", Karnataka editions, December 4, 2008) incorrectly said that in the girls' section, Shalmali Gagare of Maharashtra drew with Shikha Shah of Gujarat to take the sole lead. She was placed second behind R. Bharathi of Tamil Nadu, the eventual winner, at the end of 10 rounds.
