KATHMANDU: Foreign Minister of China Yang Jiechi and his Nepal counterpart Upendra Yadav on Wednesday signed an agreement on Economical and Technical Cooperation, which provides a financial aid of RMB 100 million ($14.8 million) to Nepal. Mr. Yang told reporters, “Economically China has been doing its best to help build Nepal.” On Wednesday, the two countries’ delegations discussed road connectivity, economic corridor and expansion of railways from Lhasa to Syafrubesi. China, one of the major donors for Nepal, has also agreed to provide a “soft loan” of $200 million. Mr. Yadav also said China wanted to help strengthen Nepal’s security system
