Farmers’ demands

KOLAR: Scores of farmers, led by Kolar Jilla Raitha Hitarakshana Samithi secretary Byalahalli Govinda Gowda, laid siege to the office of the Deputy Director of Agriculture Department here on Wednesday.

They demanded extension of crop insurance period for potato and mango — two major horticulture crops of the region. — Staff Correspondent
