Nominations sought

HYDERABAD: C.P. Brown Academy, an institution dedicated for development of Telugu language, is seeking nominations for its prestigious Telugu Bharati for 2009. Literary fraternity can nominate the names of the scholars who made significant contribution in the areas of Telugu language and literature for the award.Nomination forms containing details of the scholar being suggestedshould be sent to “The Convenor, C.P. Brown Academy, The Alpha Foundation, 408, Nirmal Towers, Megacity No. 200, Dwarakapuri Colony, Panjagutta, Hyderabad – 500082,” before January 31.

The winner will be given the cash of Rs. 2.5 lakh and a gold medal. The prize for 2008 was accorded to reputed linguist Bhadriraju Krishnamurthi. For more details, call 040-23423188.
