Motor Vehicle Inspector amasses Rs.1.5 cr. assets
HYDERABAD: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials on Wednesday unearthed disproportionate assets worth over Rs.1.5 crore belonging to a Motor Vehicle Inspector of Warangal Banothu Badru Naik.
A press release issued by ACB here said these assets were unearthed following simultaneous raids at different places, including his office and residence at Warangal, his house in Kothapet, here, and in Palvancha in Khammam district. The assets included two houses, flat in Himayatnagar, and three plots in Seri Lingampally, five plots at Karmanghat, all in Hyderabad besides, six house plots, 1.36 acres of agricultural land in and around Warangal and 50 acres of farm land at Somulagudem (Palvancha). The market value of the assets would be well above Rs.1.5 crore, the release stated.
