High-capacity gensets launched

Bangalore: Mahindra Powerol, a division of Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.’s farm equipment division, announced the launch of its range of high-capacity diesel gensets in south India on Monday. Sachin Nijhawan, General Manager, retail sales, Mahindra Powerol, said the company, which launched its 140 kva genset recently, is likely to manufacture gensets with a capacity of up to 500 kva.

He said the retail sector, real estate and the telecom industry were among the major buyers of gensets.
