Naidu ridicules YSR’s claim

HYDERABAD: Telugu Desam Party president N. Chandrababu has ridiculed the claim by Chief Minister Y. S.Rajasekhara Reddy’s claim that the Congress party would get 51 per cent vote share in the next elections.

Making light of the assertion that the Congress would win 230 Assembly and 36 Parliament seats, Mr. Naidu at a press conference on Wednesday said Dr. Reddy should remove one digit from the said figure.

“The Chief Minister is frustrated and is hence making such tall claims,” he remarked.
