HUBLI: South Central Railway has extended the services of the Kacheguda-Bangalore City-Kacheguda Weekly Special Train (0789/0790) with a revised composition for eight more trips, a press release said. Accordingly, Kacheguda-Bangalore Weekly Special (0789) will depart Kacheguda at 9.55 p.m. on Sundays, commencing from December 7 and will arrive at Bangalore City at 12.10 p.m. the next day. The last service of the train from Kacheguda will be on January 25, 2009. In the return direction, Bangalore City-Kacheguda Weekly Special (0790) will depart from Bangalore City at 1 p.m. on Mondays commencing from December 8 and reach Kacheguda at 4 a.m. the next day. The last service of the train from Bangalore City is on January 26, 2009. The weekly special will have a revised composition of 20 coaches, comprising two 2-tier A/C coaches, one 3-tier A/C coach, 12 second-class sleepers, three general second-class coaches and two second-class luggage-cum-brake vans, the release said.
