GURGAON: Former National junior champion Prerna Bhambri unleashed her best to stun the top seed Rishika Sunkara 4-6, 6-3, 6-3 in the girls’ pre-quarterfinals of the ITF grade ’IV’ junior tennis tournament at the NTA Complex here on Tuesday. Qualifier Tarranum Handa stretched the second-seeded Melis Sezer of Turkey to three sets in another interesting encounter. In the boys’ section, the third-seeded A. Muddappa was shown the door by qualifier Vishvesh Sinha in the pre-quarterfinals. The fourth-seeded Lakshit Sood lost to Sumeet Shinde.
