Musician sacked

Guruvayur: A nagaswaram performer with the Sreekrishna temple was suspended on Tuesday for alleged unauthorised absence from duty. Temple authorities said Guruvayur Murali was absent during ‘Usha Puja’ and the rites were performed without nagaswaram. Murali had been suspended earlier also for unauthorised absence during ‘Pantheeradi Puja.’
