Nanu given notice

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Janata Dal (Secular) president H. D. Deve Gowda has removed the former Minister C.K. Nanu from the national executive of the party. Party general secretary Varughese George said in a press note here on Tuesday that Mr. Nanu had been given 48 hours to explain why he should not be expelled from the party. — Special Correspondent
