VISAKHAPATNAM: The Park Hotel launched Aura, a luxury day spa and gym, here on Tuesday. The Aura is a popular spa in Chennai, Kolkata and New Delhi and is known for its unique treatments with natural ingredients. The spa has three therapy rooms created in earthy tones based on the ‘Tridosha’ concept. The therapy rooms ‘Kapha’, ‘Vata’ and ‘Pitta’ reflect the three fundamentals of human life based on ancient Indian science of well being and preventive healthcare. Unique experience“Our philosophy is to rediscover and channelize the mind-body connection to restore the inner vitality and peace with fresh natural products. What makes it a unique experience is its holistic approach. The therapy treatment is a fusion of Ayurvedic and Western techniques aimed to rejuvenate the mind and the body,” Brand Manager of Aura Megha Dinesh said. Some of the finest wellness therapies from around the world are delivered by intensively trained therapists at the spa. The treatments include specialised massages like ‘Swedish’, ‘Revitalise’, ‘Reflexology’ and ‘Hibiscus’, beauty treatments using rare exotic combination of natural herbs, flowers and spices, fruit based body wraps and scrubs using milk, honey and sweet basil. Innovative treatments include Aura massage, exotic dalim scrub and mineral mud body wrap, coconut cocoon with turmeric and Nilgiri honey wrap. The spa also has a gymnasium, steam chambers, open air courtyards with Jacuzzi adjoining the therapy rooms, an outdoor swimming pool and yoga (on request). The spa is open on all days and the timings are 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
