Kakinada: A two-member team of observers of Praja Rajyam party (PRP) from West Godavari district comprising A Rani and P Vijaya Lakshmi arrived here on Tuesday as part of their tour of Kakinada, Rajahmundry and Amalapuram Parliamentary constituencies. They are vested with the responsibility of identifying women who could play an active role in the PRP and also coordinate its activities from the women’s perspective. Speaking to reporters, Ms. Rani said the party was poised to spring pleasant surprises in the electoral arena mainly due to social justice plank on which it was going to polls early next year. The party women’s wing was concentrating on nurturing potential leaders, who could make valuable contributions to achieving Chiranjeevi’s dreams. A detailed report would be submitted to the party high command based on the feedback received from different quarters, particularly women. PRP leaders U Rajya Lakshmi, N Andal and A Lakshmi Srinivas were present.
