PUDUCHERRY: A large number of residents from Uruvaiaru near Villianur staged a road roko in front of Government High School there seeking action against a teacher for allegedly misbehaving with three girl students. Residents and family members of the students staged a protest, demanding stringent action against the teacher. The crowd dispersed following an assurance by the authorities concerned that action would be taken against the teacher.
