Let Good sense prevail: People praying at Shammah Chruch Centre in Secunderabad on Monday.

HYDERABAD: Their prayers were for peace, solidarity and brotherly love. This expression of unity echoed at the Shammah Church Centre with over 200 members of various Christian organisations participating in the congregation on Monday evening. With hands joined in prayer, the members stood up to observe silence and witness a candle lighting ceremony by Fr. Dhanraju, General Secretary of Joint Christian Action Council. “The incident will go down as the worst terrorist attack and this is the time to pray for solace, comfort and salute the officers and security personnel who laid down their lives,” said Swaranjit Sen, Former DGP and president of JCAC. Participants were given a chance to speak their heart out at the occasion.

The event was organised by Joint Christian Action Council and attended by Bishop S.K. Parmar and Dr. J.A. Oliver.
