Woman constable found hanging

CHENNAI: A woman police constable allegedly committed suicide at Royapuram on Monday.

Police said that S. Mahalakshmi (35), attached to the All-Women Police Station, Flower Bazaar, took the extreme step following family problems. She was found hanging from the ceiling at the police quarters in Royapuram. The body was sent to Stanley Medical College and Hospital for post-mortem, the police said.
