SINGAPORE: Malaysia on Monday said it would ask Interpol to verify the “claim” that some of the terrorists involved in the Mumbai attacks had used a Malaysian address to gain accommodation in the city to plot the crime. Commenting on media reports in India, Deputy Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak said in Kuala Lumpur: “It is an unsubstantiated claim. We will contact Interpol for confirmation on the matter, and we will issue a follow-up statement. As of now, there is no proof.”
