BHUBANESWAR: The Orissa High Court on Monday asked the State government to file a counter to a writ petition challenging the constitutional validity of Scheduled Tribe and other Forest Dwellers (Recognition of Forest Rights) Act 2006 and its allied rules by December 15.

Forest department of the State government was to submit a detailed counter to a petition filed by Society of Retired Forest Officers of Orissa which prayed to quash few chapters of the Forest Rights Act (FRA).
