Varsity main gate locked

CUTTACK: The main gate of Ravenshaw University was locked for over an hour on Monday morning allegedly by some students who were demanding postponement of the third semester examinations which are beginning from Tuesday. It was however, not known who locked the gate and for what purpose.

The university authorities, however, sought the help of police who in turn arrived at the spot and broke the lock to open the main gates.
