HYDERABAD: Three persons involved in a series of chain snatching and vehicle lifting cases were arrested by the Cyberabad police on Sunday. Gold jewellery weighing 50 tolas and 15 motorcycles, all worth over Rs. 14 lakh, were also recovered from them.
The accused persons have been identified as T. Ravi and Mohammed Taj, both natives of Warangal district and K. Yadireddy from Nagole.
Ravi and Taj used to pose themselves as customers and snatch gold chains from women running grocery stores, while Yadireddy would select isolated areas and target women, said DCP (Alwal) G. Sudheer Babu.
