‘Give incentive to all milk producers’

Staff Reporter

BANGALORE: The Karnataka Rajya Raitha Sangha and Hasiru Sene have alleged that the incentive provided to the milk producers is reaching only the milk producers in six districts of the State and others have been deprived of the facility. KRRS working president Kodihalli Chandrashekhar said that of the 30 lakh litres of milk supplied to the Karnataka State Co-operative Milk Producers Association, 23 lakh litres was supplied by milk producers from six districts around Bangalore.

The incentive was reaching only to the farmers of these districts and milk producers of the remaining 23 districts were not benefited by the incentive. The incentive at Rs. 2 a litre being given to the milk producers of six districts should be extend to others, Mr. Chandrashekhar said.
