Centenary of Hind Swaraj

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A year-long celebration will be held to mark the centenary of Hind Swaraj, which is considered as the basic book on Gandhiji’s vision.

A meeting of various Gandhian, social and cultural organisations held here on Saturday with P. Gopinathan Nair, chairman of Gandhi Peace Foundation, in the chair also set up a committee headed by Gandhian socialist leader and former MP P. Viswasmabharan, to organise the celebration. V. Ramadas is the vice-chairman, Jacob Pulickan, general convener and J.M. Rahim, convener of the committee.
