CHENNAI: As part of the 60th Annual Conference of the Cardiological Society of India, a special postal cover was released at a function here on Saturday. M.S. Ramanujan, Postmaster General, Chennai City Region, released the special cover, which was received by R.Subramanian, Head of the Department of Cardiology, Stanley Medical College.
This year, 30 leading cardiologists from abroad and about 5,000 cardiologists from the country are expected to participateThe five-day conference would begin on December 3 at Chennai Trade Centre, Nandambakkam. For the first time the members of the American Heart Association and the European Society of Cardiology will participate in it , Dr.Somasundaram added.
