Pratibha curtails tour

Bali: President Pratibha Devisingh Patil will cut short her visit to Indonesia by two days, leaving Jakarta on the afternoon of December 1, instead of on December 3 as originally scheduled.

On reaching Mumbai on the evening of December 1, she will go straight from the airport to J.J. Hospital to visit the victims who were injured in the recent terror attacks.

The next morning the President will hold discussions with Maharashtra Governor S.C. Jamir and Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh. Following these meetings, she will visit the homes of Hemant Karkare and Vijay Salaskar, senior police officials slain in the terrorist attacks.
