KOLKATA: A brace of first-half goals enabled Mohun Bagan register its sixth straight victory in the ONGC I-League football against Chirag United Sports Club, here on Saturday. The 11th round match brought to an end the first leg and Bagan is second with 21 points from six wins, three draws and two losses. Chirag has 12 points from three wins, three draws and five defeats. Bagan’s first goal was scored in the 14th minute when Jose Barreto headed home a pass from Shylo Malswamtulunga. The second came off the boots of Baichung Bhutia, whose acrobatic side-volley found the mark. — Special Correspondent
