India TV defends broadcast of conversation with terrorists

New Delhi: Defending its broadcast of a telephonic conversation with two terrorists hiding in Nariman House and Oberoi hotel during the Mumbai attacks, India TV on Saturday said its telecast helped security agencies to ascertain the origin of terrorists involved.

Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has issued a notice to India TV for broadcasting a conversation with two terrorists holed up in Nariman House and Oberoi on Friday. — PTI
