Bakrid holiday for offices

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The holiday on account of Bakrid for the Central government offices in the State will be on December 8 as in the case of the State government offices and not on December 9 as declared earlier. A press note from the Central Government Employee Welfare Coordination Committee said here today that if the State government changed the date, that would become applicable to the Central government offices in the State also. But if the State government announced any additional holiday, it would be considered as restricted holiday for the Central government offices. —Special Correspondent
