KANNUR: Bus operators here have said that the municipality’s proposal that private buses from here should enter the existing municipal bus stand and the newly built Central Bus Terminal was not acceptable to them. District Bus Operators’ Association Coordination Committee chairman V.J. Sebastian said here on Saturday that the primary concern of the authorities while opening the new terminal should be bus passengers and buses, he said adding that the demand that buses should also halt at the old bus stand as demanded by shopkeepers there was not acceptable as it would cause inconvenience to both passengers and bus operators.
