KALPETTA: Minister of Education and Culture M.A. Baby will inaugurate the Pazhassi Day observance and a renovated monument in connection with the 203rd death anniversary of Veera Kerala Varma Pazhassi Raja, one of the first freedom fighters of the country, at 2 p.m. on Sunday at Mananthavadi in the district. Mr. Baby will also open the Pazhassi Memorial Museum. K.C. Kunhiraman, MLA, will preside over the function. At 10 p.m., a history seminar on the subject ‘Pazhassi wars’ will be held.
