Four killed in accidents

HYDERABAD: Four persons, including two women were killed in separate road accidents in the city and its suburbs on Thursday night.
A software engineer, N. Rajani died after the motorcycle on which she was travelling was run over by an unidentified vehicle at Begumpet. Her colleague Ranjith escaped with minor injuries. In a separate incident, Surmila Hela (19) died after the car in which she was travelling hit a median near Patny in Secunderabad. Her three friends also suffered injuries in the incident. Hela, a resident of Vanasthalipuram, was pursuing a medical transcription course. The accident occurred when she and her friends were returning home after attending a party in Begumpet.
In another incident, two persons died on the spot after the motorcycle on which they were travelling was hit by a car at Dundigal. The victims have been identified as Pandu (20) and Yadagiri (32), both residents of Gagilapur village in Dundigal, according to police.
