Devanahalli master plan to be approved soon

Staff Reporter

BANGALORE: The sky may be the limit for land developers in and around Devanahalli soon. On Thursday, Advocate-General Uday Holla made a submission in Karnataka High Court that the final master plan for the Bangalore International Airport Area Planning Authority (BIAAPA) would be approved by the Government on or before December 18.

The approval of the final master plan would enable regulated development of the Devanahalli area since the development had been frozen pending the approval of the final plan.

The submission by the Advocate-General before Justice Ramamohan Reddy came while a batch of petitions challenging rejection of applications by BIAAPA for layout formation was being heard.
