Plea for talks on Pay Committee report

PUDUKOTTAI: Tamil Nadu Government Employees’ Union (TNGEU) has urged the State Government to hold talks with representatives of its employees before implementing the recommendations of the Committee for Pay Commission, constituted by the State Government.
Addressing presspersons here on Thursday, its State president K. Balasubramanian said that the Committee had recently submitted its report to the State Government. However, prior to its implementation, the State Government should invite the representatives of various employees’ associations and ascertain their views too.
