Renovation of temples begins

NELLORE: Tourism Minister Anam Ramnarayana Reddy on Friday inaugurated the temples renovation works at various places in Sri Potti Sriramulu Nellore district.

The Minister laid foundation stone for development of Sri Vedagiri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Devastanam at Narasimha Konda, being taken up at a cost of Rs. 4.44 crore and the renovation of Kamakshitayee shrine and Irukalala Parameswari Devi temple, estimated at a cost of Rs 3.26 crore and Rs 2.06 crore respetively.

The heritage structures, Charminar and Kutub Shahi Tombs at Hyderabad, Arakuloya in Visakhapatnam district and Kakatiya temples in Warangal district would be developed under the project.
