DuPont launches new pesticide

Rajahmundry: For the benefit of rice-producing farmers in East and West Godavari districts, DuPont India, in its second launch, introduced ‘Coragen’, its latest and advanced insect control product, at a press conference on Friday. Ram Mudholkar, Director, South Asia, DuPont Crop Protection, said that the first launch was done in Hyderabad in October and on Saturday they were meeting rice farmers of both the Godavari districts to introduce ‘Coragen’ insect control, which was the latest R&D product. Highlighting the qualities and potentiality of ‘Coragen’ insect control, he said that 60 ml bottle per acre (price Rs.720) was the latest and advanced insect control product that optimises the grower’s potential to produce high- quality, high-yielding crops. He assured the farmers that it was remarkably low toxicity green labelled chemical to mammals, fish and birds, while having a high insecticidal potency. It works on stem borne, leaf roller insects and weakens its bones and also works on the entire body of the insect.
