RBI signs MoU with Puducherry government

CHENNAI: The Reserve Bank of India on Thursday entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with Puducherry government with regard to Urban Co-operative Banks and has also formed a State Level Task Force for Urban Co-operative Banks (TAFCUB)

RBI Regional Director for Tamil Nadu and Puducherry F.R. Joseph is the chairman of TAFCUB, while Puducherry, Registrar of Co-operative Societies A.S.P.S. Ravi Prakash is the co-chairman.

The first meeting will be held soon. — Special Correspondent
