Directive to hotels

Tiruvannamalai: Following the terror attacks in Mumbai, the Police Department has asked hotels and ashrams in Tiruvannamalai to be vigilant while accommodating guests.

Speaking to reporters here on Friday, SP V. Balakrishnan said that they had told representatives of hotels, ashrams and lodges at a meeting that they should get complete address of the persons coming to stay. “We have also asked them to get address proof such as driving licence or voter identity card apart,” he said.
