Seminar on family laws

VISAKHAPATNAM: Save Indian Family Foundation (SIFF) is organising a seminar on ‘Dynamics of family structure and role of law’ on Sunday at the seminar hall in Andhra University Platinum Jubilee Guest House from 9.30 a.m. onwards.

The inaugural address will delivered by the Judge of A P High Court G. Raghuram. The other speakers would include District and Sessions Judge N.R.L. Nageswara Rao, Commissioner of Police N. Sambasiva Rao and Director of Centre for Policy Studies A. Prasanna Kumar. The former Chairman of Bar Council of India D.V. Subba Rao would preside over the function.

Briefing the press here on Friday, the co-ordinator of SIFF (Vizag chapter) B.K. Agarwal said that the seminar is being organised to bring various key agencies and departments like the judiciary, police and legal fraternity under one roof and sensitise about the various implications of acts and laws governing matrimonial disputes.
