Anti-dumping duty on ceramic tiles sought

NEW DELHI: The Indian Council of Ceramic Tiles and Sanitaryware (ICCTS) has urged the Union Ministry of Commerce and Industry to impose anti-dumping duty on ceramic floor and wall glazed tiles being imported from China for five years, as was done recently in the case of vitrified tiles. ICCTS pointed out that ceramic tiles manufacturers have been reeling under pressure on account of dumping from China in recent years. — Special Correspondent
