More facilities promised at refugee camps

NAMAKKAL: The State Government would provide adequate facilities to people in Sri Lankan refugee camps functioning in Namakkal district, Deputy Speaker of State Assembly V.P. Duraisamy said.

Inspecting the camp at M. Mettupatti village in Paramathi Velur block in the district along with Collector U. Sagayam, the Deputy Speaker said the Government was taking measures to create better living conditions in all the refugee camps in the State.

He assured the people in the camp that the Government would address their grievances quickly.

Adequate drinking water provisions, street lights, toilets and various amenities would be provided in all the camps in the district, he promised.
