Security stepped up at RGIA

HYDERABAD: Security at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Shamshabad was further stepped up following the Mumbai terror strikes, with 100 more armed CISF jawans being inducted to assist the existing security personnel. According to airport authorities, a total of 300 armed CISF personnel will now be guarding the airport.

Nearly 800 CISF personnel are stationed and more than 350 closed circuit television cameras installed at RGIA.
