“Avail subsidy of Rs.30 a cylinder”

TIRUCHI: All consumers, even those without ration cards, with single cylinder Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) connections can avail the subsidy of Rs.30 a cylinder given by the State government. Collector T. Soundiah in a Press release said the scheme was originally eligible only for those holding ration cards with single cylinder connections.

The government has now relaxed the rule and allowed even those without ration cards to avail the scheme, he said.
