Bangladesh team visits Tiruchi

TIRUCHI: A 15-member team from Bangladesh, including the Mayors of Chapainawabganj and Chandpur, visited Tiruchi on Wednesday to study the solid and liquid management projects in the district.

The team included the Mayor of Chapainwabganj Ataur Rahman and Chandpur Mayor Nasiruddin Mohammed and senior officials of the Bangladesh government.

The team inspected various waste water and solid waste management programme being implemented in and around Tiruchi by the Corporation and voluntary organisations.

They also held discussions with the Mayor Sarubala R. Tondaiman and Commissioner T. T. Balsamy.
