Ward member disqualified

HYDERABAD: The State Election Commission on Wednesday disqualified Chejerla Koteswaramma, Member of 18th Ward of Bapatla Municipality, for failing to lodge the final accounts of election expenses during the ward elections held in 2006. An order issued by J. Sudha Rani, secretary, said Koteswaramma was not eligible for three years to contest any election for any office under the AP Municipalities Act, 1965.
