Choice for power consumers


MUMBAI: Power consumers requiring power of one MW and more, will have the option of choosing their power suppliers from January 2009, Central Electricity Regulatory Commission Chairman Pramod Deo said on Wednesday. Speaking at an energy conference organised by the CII here, Mr. Deo said that there would be an open access for consumers requiring power of one MW.
