Welfare fund remittance

BANGALORE: The Labour Welfare Board has asked the factories, plantations, workshops, motor, omnibus services coming under Karnataka Labour Welfare Fund Act, 1965, and also employers of all shops and commercial establishments, charitable trusts, societies registered under Karnataka Societies Registration Act 1960, to remit compulsory contributions towards welfare fund before January 15, 2009, according to a press release.
