Workshop to focus on employee integration

Special Correspondent

CHENNAI: A management development programme being held here on December 12 and 13 will focus on employee integration in a multi-cultural workplace.

The theme of the event, hosted by Park Global School of Business Excellence (PGSBE), is “Leveraging Cultural Diversity for Corporate Success.”

Four technical sessions

The workshop will, over four technical sessions, help candidates develop an appreciation for individual and cultural differences that influence effective management and learn perspectives for identifying and mapping cultural differences.

Increasing efficacy

Participants can also pick up techniques for bridging cultural contrasts in a way that enhances managerial efficacy and better understanding of how to apply bridging techniques to manage multi-cultural work teams.

The workshop will be led by Allan Bird, Eiichi Shibusawa-Seigo Arai, Professor of Japanese Studies, St. Louis College of Business Administration, University of Missouri, U.S.

For details, contact the PGSBE on Greams Road on 28297499 or 9600117657 or e-mail to mdp@pgsbe.ac.in
