Delhi High Court summons N.D. Tiwari

NEW DELHI: The Delhi High Court on Tuesday summoned in person Andhra Pradesh Governor N.D. Tiwari on a suit filed by a person, Rohit Shekhar, seeking a direction to the Governor to accept him as his biological son.
The High Court refused to exempt Mr. Tiwari from personal appearance sought by his counsel, saying that it was a family matter and he was not above the law.
Mr. Tiwari has already denied the claim in the High Court in a reply to the suit. He has also declined to undergo a DNA test as sought by the plaintiff to prove the claimed parenthood.
