Defence pension adalat from November 27

COIMBATORE: A defence pension adalat for defence pensioners and defence family pensioners of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry will be held here on November 27 and 28. This will be organised by the Controller of Defence Accounts, Chennai.

According to a release from Adalat Officer R. Madhavan, the adalat will be held at 110 Infantry Battalion (TA) Madras, at Red Fields, on both days.

The adalat will be inaugurated by Bulbul Ghosh, Controller General of Defence Accounts, New Delhi. The first day’s business session will begin at 1.30 p.m. The session on November 28 will begin at 10 a.m. All pensioners, who have registered/not registered earlier, can air their grievances at the meeting. Call letters have been sent to those who have already registered. Redressal of grievances pertaining to sanction, disbursement of pension and family pension will be dealt with at the adalat.
