KSIC to launch new sari collection

Bangalore: The State-owned Karnataka Silk Industries Corporation (KSIC) will launch 14 designs of its crepe collection of Mysore Silk saris on Tuesday. Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa will release the saris designed by Bangalore-based professional, Deepika Govind. The prices of the saris range from Rs. 13,000 to Rs. 32,000, depending on quality. The crepe silk saris have motifs from Hampi, Halebid and Belur, and were manufactured without tampering with the uncompromising quality that characterises Mysore silk fabrics according to a KSIC press release.
