Kerala youth among crew of abducted ship

KANNUR: Abdul Jabbar, 25, hailing from Uppala in Kasaragod district is among the crew of an Iranian ship abducted by Somalian pirates last week.

Relatives of Abdul Jabbar, who joined the crew of the vessel eight months ago, said he contacted his mother over phone for a few seconds.
